It had been long. Both of them had been looking forward to this meeting. Sitting with, for what seemed a lifetime, he felt immensely happy. He looked into her eyes. She lowered them suddenly, not knowing how to react. Her hair reflected the orange of the setting sun, as her cheeks took a shade of red. Her breathing grew heavier and the nervous sweat beads wet her palms. He took her hand in his, slowly pulling her closer and closer. He leaned and kissed her on her neck and again. His eyes as red as of devil. His teeth as sharp as a knife. He took a deep breath before making the final move and drawing the blood out of her. A sudden pain in his chest threw him back for a moment. His skin burnt and he yelled in pain. His eyes burnt and he shut them just in time to see, with a cross in her hand, the vampire slayer. *edit
