Have Feet. And Yes I Will Dance....

Black out.

1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..

She enters from stage left in the given 8 counts.

Breath in…breath out…

She waits for the butterflies to flutter in her stomach. Surprisingly they do not turn up.

She is not nervous which confuses her.

Music blares

Lights blind her

As she meticulously performs the steps, keeping in mind what was to come next.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

2 2 3 4 5 6 7 8…she continues

This is time to show everything that she has learned in the past 15 days.

To prove that all you need is will to learn and enjoy what you do.

To gain the confidence she had lost long ago.

3 minutes later she exists from stage right.

Its over..she did it…

She breaks off from her group, who celebrate their exuberant performance, and closes her eyes. She wants to celebrate alone for she has conquered alone.

Heartless-2

Cold blooded..emotionless..were the adjectives everyone gave her. ‘You don’t know how to express yourself’, they would say. ‘You don’t have any love in you, you really are heartless.’ Even the ‘closet’ of her friends would complain. She would have no answers or explanations. That was the way she was. That day, like any other, she was alone at her apartment. The chaos outside did not bother her. The screams of help fell on dead ears. They found her sitting on her couch, reading a book. Everything in the room was placed neatly as if she had just cleaned it. Their sight did not bother her. Her face, like a stone, did not reveal any emotion. But deep inside, her stomach churned. She calmed herself by reminding herself what everyone said, she was heartless. They could do her no harm. She smiled. As they proceeded to rip her apart, a drop of tear fell. She did have a heart. ************************************************************************ You can read the first part here

White

WHITE It’s the colour of mourning. It's the colour of celebration. It's the colour of peace. It's the colour of happiness. It's pure, calm, serene, and honest. It’s the colour of the first meal that baby takes. It’s the colour of maturity on a person’s head. It’s the colour of the moonlight. It’s the colour of the clouds. It’s the colour of the sea foam. It’s the screechy chalk on the black board. It’s the clean surface of the white board. Mixes with every other colour to give it a new identity. It makes red go pink. It turns the black into grey. And it's just White *********************************** What comes to your mind when you think of White.. Write back…
