Crowd

Zombies walked through the town. Hundreds and thousands of them. They walked in all directions, but they dint know where they were going. Left right and centre, they walked and walked mindlessly. They banged into each other only to start moving again in a different direction.

In the middle of it all stood a sole human soul, trying hard to make sense out of the chaos. It had been warned about it earlier, but reality is never what you imagine.

It tried; it tried hard, to comprehend the situation. But it was alone facing an entire army. It fought and it got hurt, it fought more. It got hungry and tired, but it moved on, not wanting to give up so soon.

Slowly it started to crumble; it found it difficult to hold on. It started to lose itself, it started to die.

And then the day came when it joined the crowd.

Welcome to the land of Zombies!!

Some of us are trying to build this settlement for the uninfected.

We even have a few of the zombies domesticated.

Heartless-2

Cold blooded..emotionless..were the adjectives everyone gave her. ‘You don’t know how to express yourself’, they would say. ‘You don’t have any love in you, you really are heartless.’ Even the ‘closet’ of her friends would complain. She would have no answers or explanations. That was the way she was. That day, like any other, she was alone at her apartment. The chaos outside did not bother her. The screams of help fell on dead ears. They found her sitting on her couch, reading a book. Everything in the room was placed neatly as if she had just cleaned it. Their sight did not bother her. Her face, like a stone, did not reveal any emotion. But deep inside, her stomach churned. She calmed herself by reminding herself what everyone said, she was heartless. They could do her no harm. She smiled. As they proceeded to rip her apart, a drop of tear fell. She did have a heart. ************************************************************************ You can read the first part here

LOST

She had been walking. For how long, even she did not remember. Walking in the woods, lost on the woods, she had no sense of direction, making it hard to find her way. She seemed to be circling around. The trees started to look familiar. She was little scared. Of the dark, no, but of the unknown. The darkness in fact comforted her. It let her hide her insecurities, her fear and her apprehensions. She crossed the same tree for the third time. She knew it was the same. Suddenly she realised that even though she was lost, she was at peace. She knew then, she did not want to leave. She had found her way. Her way was to remain lost.
